I was in a raiding guild since BC. I raided up until I stopped playing just before DS came out. I thoroughly enjoyed it. But times change, people's lives change. Should we (LFR's) be excluded from seeing content or getting gear (albeit not the "best") because real life issues conflict with schedules?

a team of entirely 2200-2400 CR players queues at like 2050-2150 MMR (until you get a bunch of wins vs 2k+ teams)
as bailamos said above there's basically a glass ceiling of 2300ish rbg MMR which makes pushing 2400+ a tedious and boring grind because you only gain like 8 points at most for beating the highest teams past a certain point.
it takes hundreds of games to reach 2400 so most players save for a few teams have completely given up. there is next to no competition because only ~5 teams even queue past 2100 MMR now. if you fixed the system so that it is actually possible for ~2k players to push higher ratings, there would be more competition and less inclination to wintrade

How about nerf wars damage and cc.........you give them high damage output, cc chains worse than a rogue, and then give them extreme survivability. But you nerf one thing and they cry until you make them even more op. (or at least pay you off as Swifty most likely did because he a baddie and can't play without 1shot macros, lol jk. That scaling looks totally fine for encouraging
That scaling looks totally fine for encouraging 25 man groups (hopefully with some new folks getting their feet wet too). I guess it's just a matter of groups not wanting to wait to find that 4th or 5th healer even though it'd be worth it, and other raid remembers being impatient and wanting that 30 minute wing clear.

I almost want to say that a cross-realm group finder would be really useful. Sort of like the old one we got in Wrath, but it would really work this time if the player pool was big enough for all servers. The interface also needs to be streamlined and more transparent, as you couldn't view every nook and cranny of the raid lists without clicking a bunch of times on each raid individually. I could understand the hesitation to rework this since the first implementation didn't pan out. It's just this feature might be really good for low pops, and flex with 25 people is tuned to a difficulty that it should be doable, as long as someone's willing to lead. Then again, ooqueue might do that just fine if there's an alternative already. I know that with some parts of the game guide on the website retiring, Blizzard has let the fansites handle some aspects of gameplay, so maybe letting openraid/ooqueue do their thing could be the best plan of action (and getting that traffic further empowers these community sites to keep supporting WoW, mutual benefits).

Eh. I really don't post in forums of any type, but I figure I should at least give my two cents even if it isn't needed/wanted.

All in all in my opinion, I preferred WoW during the Vanilla/Burning Crusade(And the first half of Wrath of the Lichking) Era the most, combat was by far more superb: Stats, health, play-styles, and hell, even the content as well as the communities of each server(I mean, I used to be able to say that I knew everyone on my server, Horde or Alliance-- Either through versing them in PvP or just passing them by in zones.).

Stormwind stopped burning during MoP, and a lot of the damage done by Deathwing (which was a major lore figure, one of the Five Dragon Aspects, and not just some minor subplot) has already been repaired.
